Bluetooth Modules can be applied to all kinds of home appliances, equipment (such as medical treatment equipment) and other electronic information products. As a cable replacement program, it can connect the single-chip processor or processor directly via using PnP mode to achieve the wireless data transmission among equipments transparently.support video and audio transmit.
Bluetooth module can be divided into Master device and Slave device which can be matched as one set. (If necessary,a module can also communicate with multiple modules at the same time) When the circuit of the Bluetooth module hardware is connected correctly and powered up, the master and slave device will establish a connection automatically and identify & memory each other. Then, the user's device can use the Bluetooth module as the same as using a serial cable and can also transmit the audio signal and IO port-level signals through it.
Bluetooth module can be used independently as well, excluding using by match. When user’s equipment equipped with a Slave Bluetooth module, other Bluetooth devices, such as Bluetooth Mobile phone can search out this Bluetooth module and find out the services provided, and then establish connection and communicate with it through these services. These are transparent for the communication of the users ’equipments and this module can still be used as before.
In addition to basic data communication functions, the module also has the IO port reading &writing and transmitting voice functions. If other devices connect to the module IO port service, it can read &write digital port level of the module, or read voltage of analog port (such as battery power). When the audio transmission is enabled, the user devices can transmit audio signals through the Analog Audio interface of the module to each other.
Bluetooth module provides a safety identification function. When users use safety identification, the equipment’s connection must be authenticated, and only the authenticated equipment can realize communication. However, this process could be finished automatically if it is a pair of Bluetooth Embedded module.(Default Password:1234)

Shown in Figure 4, the module can achieve point to multi-point connection. When be as the master device, it can connect up to 7 slave devices; be as the slave device, it can connect at most 7 devices at the same time.

Shown in Figure 5, the modules can be used for relay modules. When the distance between modules exceed the maximum working distance, you can set a Bluetooth module as a relay between them to extend the working distance.
